Bahrain: Protesters trading their eyes for freedom!

Zahra J - This afternoon protesters took to the street in support of those who lost their eyes in their search for freedom, and to rise the case of Ahmed Aoun – 17 years old-, the protester who is imprisoned and prevented from treating shotgun wounds in his eye.
Ahmed has already lost one eye and doctors say he will lose the other one if it doesn’t get treated immediately! He was moved from prison to unknown place, the family called the hospital but didn’t find any information about him.
Protesters gathered in Sitra and started marching in the area, some of those who lost their eyes joined the protest, others held photos of Ahmed and other protesters who lost their eyes. Ahmed brother read a letter from him in the protest, he says: “I salute my brothers & sisters, and all those who lost their eyes, as I sit in prison about to loose mine, we must keep fightin for our rights, no matter what they take from us they can’t take our will to keep fighting”.
After about 30 minutes, police attacked the protest and dispersed the protesters, the protest ended but they kept shooting in the area till the sunset. Police shot tear gas inside a mosque and next to a shop when they saw women leaving.
The police shot tear gas inside the mosque too!
This shop was tear gassed because women wanted to leave after shopping and it was at the time of the protest!
