More Israeli Military Checkpoints in Hebron

Israeli military forces increased number of military checkpoints at the main entrances of east Hebron and some other cities.

More checkpoints were set up by Israeli army in Hebron governorate, southern West Bank on Wednesday. According to the security sources’ report to Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, Israeli occupation forces intensified their military operations by putting more checkpoints at the main entrances of Hebron to check citizens’ ID cards, Pal Telegraph reported.

According to IMEMC, the Israeli army also added several checkpoints at the entrance of the village of Beit Kahel, northwest of Hebron; al-Fawar junction, south of Hebron; and near the traffic department in the town of Doura. They also blocked the road between Doura and the villages in the west and south Hebron.

Moreover, two more checkpoints were settled down in West Jenin and near the military camp of Al-Julmeh, Stop the Violence reported.

Israeli officials claimed that they increased the number of military checkpoints for arresting wanted people. Yesterday IDF arrested two Palestinians in Hebron, Pal telegraph reported.
