Yet A Third ‘Batman Shooter’ Arrested In U.S.

Ohio police released a statement today that they have arrested a man at the late showing of the movie ‘Batman: The Dark Prince Rises’, at a theater complex. The man was armed with a gun and knives.

European Phoenix -- Since the Aurora shooting just a week ago, that left 12 dead, there have been a several attempts to duplicate the ‘Batman shooting’.

Just five days ago, Maryland police arrested a man in Prince George who threatened to kill his boss telling him “I am the joker!”.

Only two days ago, a Mexican gang wearing Batman masks, attacked several theaters at gun point.

Once again, police have arrested a man using the latest Batman movie as his stage to commit violence.

Police arrested Scott Smith Saturday night during the late showing of the movie in Westlake, Ohio. Smith carried a 9mm Glock and 4 knives at the time of his arrest.

Smith told police he had taken the weapons with him to the theater to protect himself and other innocent individuals from violence.

Police found more weapons at Smith’s home. Scott Smith is currently in custody. He is expected to appear before a judge on Friday.
