Occupy Protesters in LA Financial District

Hundreds of demonstrators, including students, teachers and union leaders, gathered outside a downtown Los Angeles Bank of America Wednesday to protest economic and social inequality.

The rally was part of a larger demonstration in which thousands of protesters participated in across California State. The American protesters say they are going to take back America's economy from corporations on Wall Street. “We are fighting for the American worker, we're fighting for the future of our kids,” Press TV quoted a protester.

According to police, about 50 protestors entered the bank, with tents in their hand, hoping to occupy the lobby. Demonstrators compromised to leave the building before the arrival of police to the bank. No arrests were reported during the rally, NBC reported.

Simultaneously, some protesters in a park near Wall Street and public squares have begun a march to Washington from New York City, chanting “we are the 99 percent”, Business Week reported.
