Revolutionaries Trying to Take Gaddafi's Compound in Tripoli

Libyan revolutionaries who have seized of much of the capital Tripoli are now raging near embattled Col Gaddafi's compound after arresting his eldest son Saif al-Islam.
The revolutionaries faced little resistance as they entered from east, south, and west on Sunday. They are now in control of 80-85% of the capital, BBC quoted a spokesman for the forces as saying.
Reports say Qaddafi forces have begun using tanks to defend his Bab al-Azizia compound since early Monday morning.
The Libyan dictator urged residents of Tripoli to "save" the city from the rebels in an audio message broadcast late on Sunday.
"How come you allow Tripoli, the capital, to be under occupation once again?" he asked. "The traitors are paving the way for the occupation forces to be deployed in Tripoli."
He insisted "We will fight to the last drop of blood," adding "We will never give up," the Guardian reported.
